90 Degrees North: 11 Years Strong
Founded in 2015, 90 Degrees North began as a shared vision among friends: Achie ‘The Engineer’ Denna, Mark Vincent ‘The Director’ Limchoa, Abram ‘The Educator’ Eustaquio. They wanted to build a company that will be the “right reference” when it comes to broadcast end-to-end solution.
In its earliest days, the company’s foundation was built on grit and belief. President and CEO Engr. Achie Denna took out a loan from the SSS to get the company started. Former Vice President Mark Vincent Limchoa recalls that their biggest challenge then was earning trust—personally knocking on doors to secure their first clients. Director and Corporate Secretary John Arkhris Jimenez recalls a time when the team relied on public jeepneys just to deliver equipment. Also instrumental, working silently to set up the business and ensure all regulatory compliance, was VP for Financial Management Control Ariel Agni. These humble beginnings shaped the company’s work ethic and resilience.
By 2016, 90 Degrees North launched its first major service to BEAM, and refreshed its brand—early indicators of growing ambition. Expansion followed in 2017, as the company crossed borders with projects in Zamboanga, broadening its services to include CCTV and structured cabling.
The years that followed marked key milestones. In 2019, 90DN secured its first major government broadcast infrastructure project with the Presidential Broadcast Service, establishing its credibility in large-scale deployments.
Despite the challenges of 2020 to 2021, the company adapted quickly, strengthened its managed services, and emerged resilient through the pandemic.
Momentum continued through 2022 and 2023, driven by increased demand for ICT and broadcast solutions, strategic property acquisitions, and the establishment of new workspaces—clear signs of stability and long-term growth.
In 2024, the company expanded its reach with the launch of The Northern Alliance that features 90DN’s major partners EMS, Btesa, Dielectric, Progira, WorldCast and Smartivus. It was formed to dominate the Asia-Pacific region with its broadcast products & solutions. In the Philippines, The Northern Alliance Academy of Innovation (TNAAI) was formed in support of this initiative.
By 2025, the company celebrated its most successful year yet. From humble beginnings, 90 Degrees North had now reached its tenth anniversary. Alongside the expansion of its products and verticals, the company achieved ISO 2015:9001 certification and ramped up efforts to serve new markets, including schools, government institutions, and houses of worship.
As 90 Degrees North enters its 11th year, it’s breaking new ground with GoRental Asia: The Omni-Sphere, this 2026.
