Disaster Risk Management, an Imperative for 90 Degrees North
In observance of Fire Prevention Month, 90 Degrees North Inc. joined the nation in conducting a fire drill and safety seminar on March 11, 2025 at The Northern Alliance Academy of Innovation (TNAAI).
Partnering with the Bureau of Fire Protection, the seminar covered essential fire safety precautions and hazard awareness, complemented by a live fire emergency response demonstration at the TNAAI Parking Lot.
Fire prevention remains a critical concern in the Philippines. In the first quarter of 2024 alone, the BFP recorded 5,764 fire incidents, resulting in 120 deaths, and 352 injuries.
This year, 90DN remains committed to fire preparedness, ensuring its workforce is equipped with the right skills to respond effectively to emergencies.

Following the successful fire drill, 90DN also participated in the National Earthquake Drill on March 13, 2025.
Employees took part, following safety protocols and standard operating procedures under the intense midday sun— a scenario designed to simulate real-life emergency conditions.
The 2025 National Earthquake Drill serves as a precaution against the potential devastation of “The Big One,” a 7.2 magnitude earthquake along the West Valley Fault, which could severely impact Metro Manila and surrounding areas.
