Reset: Recharging Connections at 90 Degrees North Through Team Building
The team of 90 Degrees North stepped away from the usual pace of deadlines and deliverables, not just for a break, but for something far more meaningful.
On May 8 and 9, a two-day team building activity was held at The Greenery in Bulacan. Employees reconnected, recharged, and rediscovered what makes a workforce stronger: balance, trust, and shared experiences beyond the workplace.
A series of games and activities tested coordination, communication, trust, and teamwork among employees. Each group strategized through the challenges. Each game proved that success is not just about individual skill, but about how well people work together, and support one another.
As the energy of the games settled, the tone shifted into something more reflective. The team was joined by Neil Germo, an inspirational speaker and trainer, who led a meaningful session centered on key values that build strong organizations: communication, challenge, call out, collaboration, celebration, and placing Christ at the center.
One of the most powerful moments of the event came during a gratitude activity. One by one, team members approached each other, reading messages of appreciation: a simple yet profound act that strengthened personal and professional bonds.
Day two brought everyone back under the sun, lighter and more connected. The atmosphere was filled with energy, laughter, and a renewed sense of unity—proof that taking time to pause and engage outside of work can have a lasting impact within it.
This is where the importance of work-life balance becomes clear.
Because in the end, it’s not just about the work.
It’s about the people, the trust they build, and the journey they share together.
