Universidad de Zamboanga Elevates Nursing Education with Advanced Learning Technologies
Universidad de Zamboanga (UZ) has significantly enhanced its learning environment for nursing students through a strategic partnership with 90 Degrees North Inc., which recently equipped its facilities with cutting-edge educational technology.
Graduate school classrooms are now outfitted with 75-inch Leaderhub smartboards, paired with JBL soundbars to deliver lectures that are not only visually immersive but also crystal-clear in audio—ensuring an engaging and dynamic classroom experience.
In the nursing laboratory at the annex building, a state-of-the-art video system has been installed. This includes six Canon N300 PTZ cameras in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), all controlled by the Canon RC-IP100 controller and supported by a dedicated workstation equipped with Skaarhoj Air Fly Pro Universal Controllers for broadcast and live production.
The operating room has also been upgraded with two Canon N300 cameras and a matching professional workstation setup, featuring the same Skaarhoj Air Fly Pro Controllers, enabling seamless video operation and training simulation.
All systems are interconnected through NetGear Pro AV over IP switches, allowing high-speed transmission and full-scale monitoring of activities—giving students a comprehensive, real-time view of clinical procedures and simulations.
With these significant technological upgrades, Universidad de Zamboanga is setting a new benchmark in healthcare education—truly redefining “next-level learning” for future nursing professionals.
